It may be clear we love the Volkswagen Bus, or Transporter. Especially the first two generations! Recently Schuco released the ‘Kastenwagen’ version of the T2a series. Kastenwagen means ‘closed van’. The die cast model car lives up to the reputation of Schuco, being extremely detailed and very well proportioned. Because Tiny Toy Cars has a Volkswagen T2a Kastenwagen as company car, we were able to examine this model car very closely on details and overall dimensions compared to the rela thing. We could not find any imperfections…

The doors open inside the body and allow view to the beautiful, jet simple, interior. The sliding door works like the real thin and at the rear two opening panels allow access to the engine or the loading area.
