Schuco is a very old manufacturer of toys and model cars. Besides new model cars, they also frequently release reproductions of old toys. The origianls are worth a lot of money and these reproductions make the affordable for a broader audience.

A recent reproduction released is the Porsche Spyder Examico #351 Mille Miglia 1954. This tin toy is in about scale 1/24. Accuracy of the casting has reached ‘as good as it gets’, but that is not the main attraction of this model car. The car features a real working four speed gearbox with reverse! Unheard of in the ‘50-s and because of this unique feature a must have in any Porsche collection.
