The third Siku release for 2009 has arrived. From this release, three models deserve  a highlight. Of course the Mercedes GLK, where the ‘K’ traditionally should stand for ‘Kurtz’ (or ’short’ in English). The cubistic model is quite a sight on the roads and these lines are very  well captured by Siku in this model car version. The XXL Toyota LandCruiser is so gigantic, the model car barely fits on the regular Siku blister cards! A very nice model, but, sorry to say, Siku, the wheels…

The winner of this release is the 7 axle Liebherr mobile crane. In scale 1/87! It feels like it is made of massive zamac (die cast), the weigth is over half a kilogram (543 grams, or about a pound) including it’s box. For a 1/87 scale model…!!!
