Three new model cars (or better, toy cars) in 3 Inch scale in the fourth release by Siku for 2009. The new Golf VI is a nice model that features opening doors. The wheels are a drawback (closed again…) and the color is not much of a ’surprise’. The blue color is quite ugly. The Jeep Wrangler is a very nicely done model car and is clearly a copy of Siku’s 1/32 scale examle from the Farmer series. The wheels are perfect, even the spare tire is ‘in style’. The last model car in 3 Inch is the Volkswagen Transporter in Kindernotarzt livery (children’s emergency doctor). This livery was issued earlier by Siku as a promitional but with even more tampo print, more detailled. From all Transporters I think this Kindernotarzt is one of the best looking.
