Together with the unbelievalbe Bentley-by-Touring, Neo Scale Models released two more model cars this week. The Amercian series is being continued with the Linoln MkVI sedan from 1980. What a huge car! A long time ago (it was 1986) I spend three months in the USA and one of my friends owned a light blue MkVI with a light blue, leather interior. Fantastic!

From England is the stylish Rover P5B in very time period correct colors!

In the current leaflet from Neo Scale Models, over the period March - April 2010 (free with each Neo Scale Models order at Tiny Toy Cars), the following model cars are announced. Three new beautiful model cars released by Neo Scale Models in week 3. Starting with the oldest, the Lloyd (or is it Borgward?) Arabella. A very elegant car in what I think the perfect color (red/white). Next in line is a moving couch, the over the top Lincoln Towncar. It is a beaut! The third new model car is the very brave and somewhat dull dilligence, the Volvo 940 GL Estate. Luckily the men from Neo Scale Models applied attractive colors.

Oh yes! This is a super, very well detailed model! This model car is significantly larger than all previous Neo Scale Models, because it is in exact 1/43 scale and not scaled down ‘to fit the box’. They even designed a larger display box for this first model and upcoming Yank Tanks. This increase in size did include a slight increase in price, about 10%.

This model car of the Lincoln MK5 coupe is a dream for the tiny detail fetish. There are numerous small details, most of them carried out in photo-etch parts, like all ‘chrome’ strips and lettering on the ’spare tire’ cover. Also check the mandatory decal on the windscreen in combination with the license plates…
