Last weeks news was the Saab 99 Combi Coupe. Neo Scale Models did do another fantastic job creating a beautiful model car of this Saab. My personal association with the word ‘coupe’ is different, but it is not Neo Scale Model’s fault Saab called this ‘hatchback’ a coupe… The announced color was green, but they did the blue version first.

The scheduled production sequence announced end of 2009 is completely revised. Models announced end of 2009 are scheduled differently. New models expected next week are the Borgward Arabella de luxe red with white, Lincoln Towncar in beige en Volvo 940 GL Estate in red.

Neo Scale Models is taking a rush to get all models released before the end of 2009. Their latest newsletter containted a lot of beautiful model cars. At Modelautonieuws we only show pictures made by ourself (most of the time), so you have to wait for the cars that are not yet released.

Did we show you recently the magnificent Volvo 164, the Volvo 145 station is available as model car by Neo Scale Models. Again a very recognizable car with a dog in the back seat! Very funny! The Jensen Interceptor SIII DHC (drop head coupe, or convertible) is a recolor in nice red. Also nice is the Porsche 911 Turbo (930). Finally a high end model car of the Porsche 911 by Neo Scale Models that is not spoiled by US-spec attachments. In schale 1/18 the magnificient Saab 96 is released. The color, called white but it’s more off white, is a crime to photograph. Apologies for the images, they really do not show the beauty of this wonderful model car!

To be released this month (?) by Neo Scale Models, these three new 1/18 scale model cars. Or actually two new, and one recolor. The recolor is the Jaguar MK9, in white this time. The previous releases of this model car were very popular and this white release has the right looks to be very popular as well.

The first new casting is the already a long time ago announced Citroen CX GTI Turbo 2. The prototype of this car was shown in Neurenberg. The long wait is almost over, the car will be released within weeks!

The second new model car is the Saab 96 in white. A beautiful model simply by it’s shapes and colors chosen. Wonderful… From the Citroen and Saab the front wheels steer.
