Updates on actual release dates are sent by email through the website from Tiny Toy Cars. Click the image of the model you want to receive updates about, set the email notification and when the model is in stock, you will automatically receive an email! As easy as that!

Finally, after a long wait, new model cars by Neo Scale Models appeared! It was worth the wait, as the Jaguar MK10 is among my favourite cars of all time! What a beautiful automobile it is!

Cararama manufactures (many) model cars for other brands, like MotorMax. MotorMax sold the model cars through Volvo. A couple of these models are now released under their Cararama brand for very interesting prices!

Three new beautiful model cars released by Neo Scale Models in week 3. Starting with the oldest, the Lloyd (or is it Borgward?) Arabella. A very elegant car in what I think the perfect color (red/white). Next in line is a moving couch, the over the top Lincoln Towncar. It is a beaut! The third new model car is the very brave and somewhat dull dilligence, the Volvo 940 GL Estate. Luckily the men from Neo Scale Models applied attractive colors.

With the arrival of Oxford Diecast modelcars to the Dutch market, a range of Cararama models have become available! Oxford Diecast and Cararama are related to each other. A nice series are the modern cars in scale 1/72. In this series you will find model cars from BMW, Mercedes, Alfa Romeo, Peugeot, Land Rover, Mitsubishi, Mini, Fiat, Volvo, Volkswagen, Audi and Porsche. Detailed model cars with clear plastic headligths, correct wheels with rubber tires, authentic colors and nice tampo printed emblems, window trim, etc. All this for a little over E 2,- apiece!

Neo Scale Models is taking a rush to get all models released before the end of 2009. Their latest newsletter containted a lot of beautiful model cars. At Modelautonieuws we only show pictures made by ourself (most of the time), so you have to wait for the cars that are not yet released.

Did we show you recently the magnificent Volvo 164, the Volvo 145 station is available as model car by Neo Scale Models. Again a very recognizable car with a dog in the back seat! Very funny! The Jensen Interceptor SIII DHC (drop head coupe, or convertible) is a recolor in nice red. Also nice is the Porsche 911 Turbo (930). Finally a high end model car of the Porsche 911 by Neo Scale Models that is not spoiled by US-spec attachments. In schale 1/18 the magnificient Saab 96 is released. The color, called white but it’s more off white, is a crime to photograph. Apologies for the images, they really do not show the beauty of this wonderful model car!

After the ‘uber’ boring Volvo 940 GL (of which I didn’t succeed to make nice pictures, it must be the model…) a very beautiful Volvo 164 model car is released by Neo Scale Models. What a beauty! The color is excellent, especially in combination with the brown/beige (leather) interior. The steel wheels are very distinctive for this tough Swedish. Available at Tiny Toy Cars for E 42,50 (or E 35,71 ex tax).

Cararama delivered this model car truck being a Volvo FH12 Globetrotter. Hauling a three axled low loader loaded with a Volvo A25C dumptruck. The price for this set is relatively low (E 25,- incl. taxes) so a further inspection is required!

Our attention is directly drawn to the high level of details. Mirrors, printing, chassis, wheels, for the money asked it is well detailed. Ok, the cab does not tilt, so an engine is not required. But the front axle does steer! The trailer is a one piece item, the neck cannot be detached. But remember, E 25,-….

The cab and chassis are made of die cast metal, like the whole trailer. The Volvo A25C dumptruck is the opposite, it uses a lot of plastic with a few die cast parts. Although this does not distract from the overall feel of the  model.

Final verdict: Great value for money!
